Facilities Management

Waste Management

Waste handling affects site hygiene, compliance and cost. Emprise supports organisations with waste segregation, bin and compactor area management, recycling streams and collection coordination, keeping documentation in order and highlighting where volumes, container sizes or collection frequencies could be adjusted.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

What waste streams can Emprise support?

We support general waste, dry mixed recycling, cardboard and packaging, and other streams appropriate to the site. Specialist or hazardous streams are handled through appropriately licensed providers, with the arrangement and documentation coordinated for the client.

Can waste handling be combined with cleaning teams?

Yes, and it often is. Where on-site cleaning teams already work to a schedule, waste movement, bin area upkeep and cardboard handling can be built into their duties, avoiding a separate supplier for closely related tasks.

How is compliance documentation handled?

Waste transfer documentation is collected and retained so it is available for audits and inspections. We report on collections and highlight gaps, while the duty of care itself remains with the waste producer as required by law.

Can waste costs be reviewed?

Container sizes, collection frequencies and segregation practices are reviewed against actual volumes. Where bins are collected part-full or recycling is contaminated, we identify the change needed; decisions on contracts and collection agreements remain with the client.

Do you support high-volume packaging sites?

Warehouse and fulfilment operations generating significant cardboard and film can be supported with scheduled clearance, baling arrangements where equipment exists, and coordinated collections timed around operational peaks.
