Questions
Yes. Hand devanning and container unloading teams are provided with team sizes based on container volume, product type and the turnaround time required. Where equipment such as conveyors or forklifts is involved, appropriately qualified workers are allocated.
Forklift operatives can be provided where the role requires them, subject to valid certification and the client's own site-specific familiarisation and authorisation process.
Team size is based on the number of vehicles, product characteristics, the handling method and the window available. We would rather agree a realistic team size and turnaround expectation at the outset than under-resource a dock.
One-off and project requirements such as stock moves, site relocations or unusually large inbound volumes are supported, with dates, hours and team sizes agreed in advance.
Workers are briefed to handle goods correctly and to report damage and discrepancies as they occur so the client has accurate records. Recurring damage patterns are raised with site management for review.
