Managed Workforce

A managed workforce arrangement moves responsibility for coordination and delivery to Emprise. We provide the workers, the supervision and the reporting for an agreed scope of activity, measured against figures taken from the client's own operation, so accountability for output sits with one supplier.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

What is a managed workforce?

A managed workforce is a team supplied and supervised by Emprise, delivering an agreed scope of work against agreed measures. The client sets the requirement and reviews performance; day-to-day allocation, attendance and coordination are managed by us.

How is accountability defined?

Accountability is set out in the scope agreed before mobilisation: what the team delivers, which measures apply, how performance is reported and where responsibility passes back to the client's teams. Clear boundaries prevent gaps during a shift.

Does managed delivery cost more than temporary staffing?

Managed delivery includes supervision and reporting, so the rate structure differs from straightforward temporary supply. Clients usually weigh that against the management time they recover and the consistency of output they get in return.

Can managed workforce cover facilities as well as warehouse work?

Yes. The same model is applied to cleaning and facilities contracts, where supervision, task completion records and performance review are equally relevant.

How is performance reviewed?

Performance is reviewed at agreed intervals using the measures set at mobilisation, with actions recorded and tracked. Reviews also identify where process or resourcing changes would improve results.
